[FROM GEEKS LIFE]
MY OVERALL RATING
Howdy !
Well, by now you probably already know that I love music. Both Luria and I go to a concert every chance we get. Be sure to watch for her behind the scenes look at a Brandi Carlile show we saw in Austin that was... well, AMAZING. Anyway, this is my Audioengine B2 review!
First of all, I am an Audioengine fan. I have a pair of the Audioengine 5+ Desktop speakers, as well as the Audioengine S8 Sub (all in white, of course). I have tried MANY speakers for my desk, and none have come close to the sound these things put out, so when I saw they had a Bluetooth speaker, well I just HAD to try it...
OK... what about this Bluetooth speaker you ask? Well, let's dive in shall we?
First of all, I am on a personal mission. I am out to find THE very best Bluetooth Speaker made. I will be rating them by manufacturing quality as well as overall sound. I know sound is a personal preference, so understand that these will be my personal video, but you are welcome to borrow it as your own.
Ok, so At first glance, this thing just looks solid. It has a VERY nice wood finish, and when I grabbed it, true to form, it felt like it had some weight to it... very sturdy.
I have touched many-a-Bluetooth in my day, and have felt others that were solid as well, but then when I turned them on, they disappointed me! These did not! For a speaker that retails at $299.00, all I was thinking is... this thing better pack a MEAN punch!!
Here are some images of the back as well...so you can see what ports you have available...

So if you're in the market for a new Bluetooth Speaker, and you have a few hundred bucks, this would be a GREAT one.
CONS:
It's not portable (wireless)
